Promising Aston Villa forward Rushian Hepburn-Murphy is a target for Scottish Premiership side Rangers.
As reported by the Daily Record, Mark Warburton’s side are planning a double swoop for Hepburn-Murphy and Bournemouth’s Emerson Hyndman.
The report suggests that Warburton has been given the green light for a potential summer move for the Villa youngster, who’s contract talks are stalling. Hepburn-Murphy has reportedly refused to sign a new deal at Villa Park
The 18-year-old could then move to Scotland on a pre-contract agreement for a reported £200,000.
Villa fans are expecting big things from the youngster, but he’s been on the fringes of Steve Bruce’s side this season following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.
Villa boss, Bruce has already confirmed the club have made a respectable offer to the youngster.
Bruce previously stated:
We’ve made a fantastic offer to him but until he commits he won’t be involved here.
The youngster has made just two appearances this season in the Championship, and failed to register a single goal so far.
