According to the Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa have completed the signing of the much sought after Barnsley right-back James Bree.
The 19-year-old is believed to have cost Villa £3 million, and he has reportedly signed a contract that will keep him at Villa Park for the next 4 and a half years.
The defender has been at Barnsley since the age of 14, and he made his professional debut in 2014 at the tender age of 16 years and 143 days, making him the second youngest player to ever play for the Tykes.
Since making his debut for Barnsley, he has been a regular in the side and has made 55 appearance as he helped them work their way up from League One.
Bree is seen as one for the future and has now even been compared to former Barnsley player, John Stones, who is currently playing first team football for Manchester City.
