Aston Villa are one of several teams, including Tottenham, Everton, Bristol City and Brighton interested in signing PSG youngster, Fodé Ballo-Touré.
As reported by French outlet, Madien Foot, both Premier League and Championship sides are keeping tabs on the player, who could be available on a free transfer in the summer.
Promotion chasers Brighton are also interested in signing the defender, but all face competition from French sides Rennes, LOSC Lille and Nice, with the youngster in demand.
Ballo-Toure is unlikely to be offered a professional deal with the French giants, despite impressing in the club’s youth teams.
The 20-year-old is predominantly a left-back but has also featured in a more advanced role in the past.
He’s been capped by the French U16s side but is yet to make a senior appearance for PSG. He played a key role in the club’s run in the UEFA Youth League.
Villa are very much in a transformation period in their first season under Steve Bruce in the Championship and may have one eye on the future wth Ballo-Toure.
