Aston Villa will re-ignite their interest in Exeter City’s Ollie Watkins and Blackpool’s Bright Osayi-Samuel this summer.
The Birmingham Mail reports that the club remains interested in the duo who faced off at Wembley in the League Two play-off final.
Watkins has enjoyed a standout season for Exeter City, playing a key role in the resurgence in League Two.
A brilliant run of form that followed an abysmal start to the season saw them rise up the table and consolidate a place in the play-offs.
Watkins has netted 16 times for City this season and has been targetted by a host of clubs in the past, including Southampton and Derby County.
Osayi-Samuel is another youngster who has impressed in League Two this season.
He has been one of Blackpool’s most prominent forward players, adding pace and flair to their attack.
After a busy January transfer window, Steve Bruce will continue to go about re-building the Villa squad this summer and may be forced to sell before he can buy.
