It’s been confirmed today that the Scotland international has signed for Villa on a season-long loan deal, with first-team football at parent club West Ham appearing to be unlikely this season.
Snodgrass fell out of favour under Slaven Bilic and was allowed to leave the London Stadium this summer, and it appears as though Steve Bruce was the man most keen to land the former Hull man.
Since his move from the Tigers in January for a fee thought to be worth £10m, Snodgrass failed to convince and the Hammers were therefore willing to cut their losses.
However, the ex-Leeds winger will now be fully focused on helping Villa to get back up to the Premier League this season as he links up with Bruce.
