Championship side Aston Villa have secured the long-term future of Keinan Davis after the youngster signed a contract extension which lasts until 2020, according to a report on Sky Sports.
The 19-year-old has been linked with a move to a few Premier League sides but villa have worked hard to come up with an appropriate deal and are delighted to have secured his signature.
The striker has broke into the first team this season and made his first appearance in September against Norwich City.
The striker poses a threat both on the ground and in the air and is hard to defend against for opposition teams. At the tender age of 19, the forward has many areas which he can develop and Villa want him to progress with them.
Davis himself was happy with the contract.
It’s a great feeling to have signed a new contract. This is another milestone for me this season – I had my first start and my full league debut then an international call-up [England U20s] and this is another one.
The hard work continues, now. I’ve got to keep working and reach that next milestone.
Davis has managed to find the back of the net twice in 12 appearances in the league this season and will be hoping to help the side push for promotion.
