Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack is a target for MLS outfit Colorado Rapids, according to a report from the Birmingham Mail.
The Scottish forward is one of several strikers that Rapids are looking at following his spell in Australia with Melbourne City, with Wolves’ Joe Mason also rumoured to be a target.
The spell down under was a successful one for McCormack, who scored on 14 occasions in the A-League.
Regardless of his performances in Australia, it is yet to be seen if he has a future at Aston Villa.
The striker had fallen out of favour under Steve Bruce, who had preferred to use Keinan Davis, while Scott Hogan is also getting close to his best at Villa Park.
Villa are chasing promotion back to the Premier League but may still look to offload the player while there is interest, given that the club has struggled to move him on in the past.
