Green hoping to fire Villa to the Premier League

Aston Villa youngster Andre Green has set his sights firmly on the Premier League after signing a new two-year deal at the club, according to the Birmingham Mail.

Green, undoubtedly has bags of ability and potential, however, he hasn’t struggled with fitness issues this season and has been unable to hold down a regular starting berth.

The teenager is eager to help fire Villa back into the Premier League, as he believes it is the place for him to showcase his ability with the club.

I’ve only played two games in the Premier League but it’s where everyone wants to be. It’s the biggest league in the world and I want to be there performing on the main stage.

The 19-year-old has the traits to become a top talent. His pace, dribbling skills and crossing ability show his potential.

Green has scored one goal in five appearances this season and has created a further four chances in those games.

The play-offs seem the most likely way Villa could be promoted this season due to a small decline in form of late. Aston Villa travel to Hull City in their next game, and although Green will be watching from the sidelines.
