Aston Villa have been handed a big boost ahead of the run-in towards the end of the season, with John Terry having returned to training.
The experienced central defender confirmed on his personal Instagram account that he has made his return to full first-team training with the squad as they gear up for a difficult final stretch of the campaign.
Terry has been a key component of Steve Bruce’s plans for Villa this season and the ex-Chelsea star has been instrumental in helping the side mount a promotion push.
Mile Jedinak has been deputising in the 37-year-old’s absence, acting as a central defender for Villa in their recent wins against Cardiff City and Leeds United.
Terry has seemingly returned to full fitness following a minor ankle injury and will now be looking to feature in Villa’s remaining three games of the season against Ipswich Town, Derby County and Millwall.
