Bruce wants Grealish to stay at Villa

Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has urged Jack Grealish to stay at the club beyond on the summer.

The Express and Star report that the player’s future is uncertain after the club’s play-off final defeat to Fulham on Saturday evening.

Grealish, who has been key for Villa this season, is expected to attract Premier League interest this summer.

A lot has been expected of the young midfielder, who has flourished during Villa’s time in the second tier.

Bruce believes the player should stay at Villa Park for the sake of his career.

Of course there’s going to be speculation over Jack. Me personally, I would like him to stay. I think another year with us would do him the world of good. That’s my personal view. He’s playing regular football week in, week out, we’ll see what happens.

Villa could be forced into selling Grealish this summer following uncertain problems off the pitch that could occur through the Finacial Fair Play rules.

Leicester have been linked with a move for the player in the past and could once again move for him this summer.
