Spurs planning formal offer for Grealish in the coming days

Tottenham are preparing to submit a formal offer for Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish in the coming days.

Birmingham Live reports that the club have yet to receive any official offers for the player, despite contrasting reports that suggest otherwise.

Spurs have set their stool out and will not offer any more than £20 million for the player, despite Villa hoping to bank closer to £25 million.

There is also thought to be interest from Liverpool and Fulham, but Spurs are leading the race to sign him.

Mauricio Pochettino is said to be a fan of the player and sees him as someone he could utilise in his squad.

Villa have accepted that the player will be sold this summer in a bid to help balance the books.

The report claims that Grealish’s sale will go a long way in easing some of the worries behind the scenes at Villa Park.
