Grealish waiting for Spurs transfer fee to be resolved

Jack Grealish is expected to join Tottenham this summer, but the two clubs need to agree a ‘suitable fee’ fee for the player.

The Birmingham Live reports that the player is very much aware of interest from the Premier League side, but he is currently away with the Villa squad who have started their pre-season preparations.

The report does state that Tottenham are the only club now pursuing a deal for Grealish, meaning it is a case of when and not if the player makes the move.

The young midfielder is widely expected to leave Villa this summer in a bid to raise funds.

Grealish is one of the club’s most valuable assets and his sale will boost the club’s worrying financial situation.

Spurs are looking to hold out on making an offer to avoid paying over the odds for Grealish, but Villa will be hoping to raise as much cash as possible.
