Aston Villa are eyeing up a move for Rangers forward Josh Windass, alongside West Brom.
According to The Birmingham Mail, the two Championship clubs are interested in Windass, who impressed in Scotland last season.
The forward scored 18 goals in all competitions for the Scottish giants last term, after scoring once in his debut campaign for the club.
The report claims that Windass is valued at £3m by Rangers, a fee West Brom are able to afford, whereas Villa are not at this moment in time.

Windass joined Rangers for a fee in the region of £60k from English side Accrington Stanley in 2016, after he scored 22 goals in 77 appearances in League Two.
Aston Villa are yet to make a signing this summer, due to the well-documented financial difficulties, and could have to wait to sell Jack Grealish before making a move for Windass.
