Aston Villa are keen on signing Ben Woodburn on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool this summer.
According to The Telegraph, Woodburn is set to be withdrawn from the Reds’ USA tour to complete a loan move.
The report claims that Aston Villa are in talks with Liverpool over a deal for the midfielder, who looks set for his first loan switch.

Telegraph claim that Sheffield United and Wigan Athletic have both made offers for Woodburn, but Villa are the favourites to land him.
Villa are currently under a transfer embargo for breaking FFP rules, but it is expected to be lifted by the end of next week.
The Championship club are then expected to push through a move for Woodburn, as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
With the season just under a week away, it seems Steve Bruce’s side are looking to make some late deals before the window slams shut.
