Aston Villa are one of several teams interested in a deal to sign Millwall midfielder and ex-Chelsea youngster George Saville.
The Daily Mail reports that Villa, Sheffield United, Leeds are interested in the player.
Saville was a standout performer for Millwall last season, with Neil Harris’ men surprising everyone with a play-off push.
The 25-year-old was equally as impressive for Millwall on the opening day of the season as the Lions earned a point against promotion candidates Nottingham Forest.
After failing to break through at Chelsea, Saville has established himself at Championship level with previous spells at Millwall on loan and with Wolves.
Millwall are said to be expecting offers before the current summer transfer window closes.
The London-based club believe that they could make a big profit on the £350,000 that Saville joined the club for back in 2017.
Villa midfielder Gary Gardner is attracting interest from other Championship clubs, which could free up room for Saville to arrive.
