John McGinn has revealed that he is trying to convince fellow Scottish international Robert Snodgrass to re-join the club.
As reported by Birmingham Live, McGinn explains that he would love to see the West Ham winger return to the club.
I’ll be trying to get him back before the end of the window, that’s for sure.
After joining from Hibernian, McGinn has become an instant hit with the fans after an impressive debut.
Snodgrass spent last season on loan at Villa Park and was heavily involved in the club’s promotion push.
It had been claimed that the winger would join Villa on a permanent basis if they were promoted, but Steve Bruce’s men were beaten by Fulham in the play-off final.
Snodgrass’ West Ham future appeared bleak earlier in the summer, but the former Hull City star was heavily involved during pre-season.
He also came off the bench to feature against Liverpool on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season.
