Championship side Aston Villa are on the verge of signing Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham on a season-long loan deal, according to a report on ESPN.
The Englishman was eager to stay and fight for a place in the Chelsea squad but new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is eager to send him out on loan.
Abraham spent last season on loan with Swansea City, where he put in some impressive performances and scored eight times, but he could not save them from relegation.

Villa boss Steve Bruce wants to add more firepower to his attacking department and has identified Abraham as a key target.
It is now understood that Villa are close to agreeing on a deal to bring Abraham to Villa Park.
Bruce hopes that Abraham can be the one to provide the goals to help Villa gain promotion to the Premier League after they narrowly missed out last campaign by losing in the playoff final.
