John Terry’s Russia move thrown into doubt

John Terry’s potential move to Spartak Moscow has been thrown into doubt with claims that his family are having reservations about the move.

Russia’s Sport Express, as cited on Sport Witness, claims that Terry is becoming increasingly likely to re-sign for Aston Villa as worries about a move abroad rise.

It had looked as if Villa had missed their chance to sign Terry, with reports going as far as saying the defender had undergone a medical with the Russian side.

Terry is believed to have agreed terms over a move to Spartak, but claims being made in the English press is said giving him a decision to make, the report claims.

Sport Witness also write that the Russian outfit only have until the end of the week to get the deal over the line, while Villa are under no pressure.

The former Chelsea legend has been linked with a return to Villa throughout the summer after missing out on promotion with Steve Bruce’s side.
