Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah is set to give Steve Bruce a fitness boost ahead of their Championship meeting with Blackburn.
The Birmingham Mail reports that Adomah has recovered from a back problem that he suffered against Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup.
A back spasm kept him out of Villa’s heavy defeat to Sheffield United prior to the international break.
Bruce is hopeful about his chances of having a new-look Villa squad at his disposal in time for the clash.
Scott Hogan, Yannick Bolasie and Tammy Abraham are all likely to be in contention to feature for the club as they aim to get their season back on track.
Adomah himself will be eager to get going and make an impact after reports of a failed move away from the club this summer, a decision which divided opinions among a number of fans.
