Villa are reportedly looking into the possibility of bringing Terry back to the club, after he captained the side last season.
Steve Bruce is struggling to find defensive options and has had to play Mile Jedinak as a central defender alongside James Chester.
The former Chelsea man, Terry, did not extend his contract with Villa in the summer due to the club’s financial issues at the time.
However, Terry could now be affordable following the takeover.
