England assistant Holland to watch Grealish against Rotherham
Jack Grealish will reportedly have the chance to impress England assistant manager Steve Holland when Aston Villa take on Rotherham United.
According to claims from the Times, England are looking to cast their net wider ahead of upcoming international fixtures and will assess the promising young players in the Championship this week.
England manager Gareth Southgate is said to be casting a keen eye over Chelsea loanee Mason Mount’s progress at Derby County, while Holland has been tasked with the responsibility of monitoring Grealish’s progress.
The playmaker, who was heavily linked with a summer switch to Tottenham Hotspur, has been named in Villa’s starting line-up for the Championship clash as Steve Bruce’s side look to get back to winning ways.
