Aston Villa’s Dr Tony Xia has left fans wondering if he has sold the rest of his stake in the club with a cryptic tweet.
Speaking on his official Twitter account, Xia wrote, ‘No matter what happened, you cannot disappear from my world.’

Xia is no longer the majority stakeholder at Villa Park following a takeover during the summer. Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens now control 55 percent of the club, meaning the former is now a co-chairman.
The were serious worries about the club’s financial situation over the summer, something that prompted the takeover.
Villa were seriously held back during the summer transfer window following the uncertainty surrounding the club’s financial situation.
There were suggestions at the time that they may be forced into selling Jack Grealish in order to balance the books.
Xia bought Villa from Randy Lender for £76m two years ago.
