Aston Villa have confirmed that Jack Grealish has signed a new long-term deal at the club.
As confirmed on their official club website, Grealish commits his future to the club, despite being heavily linked with a move away throughout the summer.
Tottenham were heavily linked with the player and had bids rejected for his services.
Villa maintained that they did not want to sell the player on the cheap and managed to keep him at the club with the Premier League side unwilling to meet their asking price.
Grealish is now out to help Villa try and reach the top flight themselves after losing in the play-off final last season.
The midfielder is now a key part of what looks to be an exciting Villa squad this time around. The summer signings of John McGinn, Yannick Bolasie and Tammy Abraham are all likely to play a key role in any promotion push this season.
Villa currently sit 13th in the Championship after nine games.
