Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is under serious consideration for the Aston Villa job.
Villa are looking for a new boss after they sacked Steve Bruce last week following a 3-3 draw with Preston North End.

The report does, however, claim that Theirry Henry is in pole position to land the role after he was heavily linked with the club before the start of the season.
Rodgers has come under fire this season, with his side struggling in the Scottish league and Europa League – having been knocked out of the Champions League in qualifying.
Celtic are fifth in the league after seven games played and Rodgers may look to leave after their poor start and try to get Aston Villa promoted to the Premier League.
