Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry will not be taking the Aston Villa job, according to reports.
John Cross of the Mirror reports that Harry Redknapp has informed TalkSPORT that the Frenchman is no longer in the running.
The former Tottenham and Queens Park Rangers boss was reportedly in the company of John Terry last night, with the latter still believed to be in contention for a spot on the bench at Villa Park.

Henry had been among the favourites for the Villa job, with Terry poised to come in as his number two, but that may no longer be the case.
Terry, who has been coaching at Chelsea during the early stages of the season, was heavily linked with a move back to Villa as a player during the summer but has recently announced his retirement.
Brendan Rodgers was also touted as a potential target but it is believed that the former Liverpool man is due to stay at Celtic.
