AS Monaco have reportedly contacted Aston Villa managerial target Thierry Henry about the possibility of replacing Leonardo Jardim.
According to Romain Molina, Henry is among the favourites to replace Jardim, who is expected to be sacked in the coming days.
Despite the good job Jardim has done in Monaco in recent years, the club have decided to look for a change in the dugout after a disappointing start to the season.
Monaco are currently 18th in Ligue 1, just one point off the bottom of the table after eight games.
Henry was heavily linked with the Aston Villa once again in recent days following the sacking of Steve Bruce.
The former Arsenal striker was touted as a potential Bruce replacement in the summer, but the new owners decided not to part ways with the former boss so soon after arriving.
It now appears that Villa could miss out on Henry once again with his former side calling.
