Leeds and Middlesborough tracking Albert Adomah
Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah is reportedly wanted by Championship rivals Leeds United and Middlesbrough in January, Bristol Live report.
The 30-year-old, who started in Villa’s Friday night victory against Bolton Wanderers, is open to a move away from Villa Park after originally joining from Boro back in 2016.
Adomah almost re-joined Boro late in the summer, however, the deal failed to get over the line due to personal terms.
But with Boro failing to create regular chances in the final third this season, boss Tony Pulis is hoping to land the Ghanaian international when the window opens in two months time.
Leeds United are also monitoring Adomah’s situation, with The Whites’ injury list increasing under Marcelo Bielsa.
Adomah is approaching 100 appearances for Villa, but with the club looking to reduce their wage bill in January, the former Bristol City winger could well be heading for one of their Championship rivals.
