Agbonlahor to be in the Holte End for the Second City derby

Former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor has confirmed that he will be in the Holte End for the Second City derby, watching along with the Villa faithful.

Speaking on his official Instagram account, as reported by Birmingham Live, Agbonlahor revealed to fans that he would be in the stadium to watch the derby game.

Villa take on Birmingham City later this month, with Garry Monk’s side climbing the table after a poor start to the season.

Agbonlahor is a former fans’ favourite at Villa Park but left the club at the end of his contract last season.

He is yet to join up with a new side and has previously been linked with a dramatic return to the club.

Villa fans will be hoping his presence in the stadium can pass on some good fortune on Debry day, Agbonlahor had an impressive record against Birmingham, scoring five goals in 10 meetings.
