Albert Adomah’s agent has revealed that the midfielder wants to stay at Villa Park, according to Sports Witness.
The agent of Adomah has revealed that the player doesn’t just intend to stay at Villa Park, he also wants to extend his stay in the West Midlands.
Adomah had been rumoured with a move away from Villa, with Leeds and Middlesborough reportedly interested in a switch for the winger.
The representative of Adomah, Anthony Finnagan, revealed to Sports Witness that:
I realise the speculation that comes during this [January] transfer window, but my aim is to discuss with the current manager at the right time about extending his contract and remain at the club.
Former boss Steve Bruce reportedly wanted to get rid of Adomah. However, his sacking and Dean Smith’s appointment mean Adomah is likely to stay at Villa.
However, Adomah could now even sign a new deal to keep him at Villa Park.
