Villa make Mings approach
Aston Villa have made an official approach to sign Bournemouth left-back Tyrone Mings on loan until the end of the season.
According to Football Insider, Aston Villa have made their move for Mings as they look to stave off competition from other Championship sides for his signature.
The report claims that Nottingham Forest and West Brom are also interested in a deal for Mings, but Villa are the first side to act on their interest.
Mings has fallen out of favour under Eddie Howe at Bournemouth and the report claims that he is set to leave the Cherries on loan this month.
The 25-year-old, Mings, has only made 20 Premier League appearances for Bournemouth since joining the side from Ipswich Town in 2015 – where he had impressed in the Championship.
Injuries problems have stunted his development at The Vitality and he will be hoping a potential loan move to the second tier could get him back on track.
