Aston Villa look set to miss out on a deal to sign Chelsea midfielder Charlie Colkett.
According to a report cited on Wigan Today, the midfielder is due to travel to Sweden with the aim of completing a move to Ostersunds.
The Swedish side had been heavily linked with a loan move to sign the player from Chelsea this month, while Villa were also keen.
Both deals were said to include the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season, but Colkett may be looking to prioritise game time, which is going to be far more likely with the Swedish side.
Villa are known to be admirers, but with Colkett unable to impress during his most recent loan spell at Shrewsbury, it is hard to see him breaking through under Dean Smith anytime soon.
Colkett has always been highly thought of at Stamford Bridge, but injuries have seen him struggle for game time in recent years.
