According to an article in the Express & Star, Aston Villa midfielder Birkir Bjarnason could be one of the next players to leave Villa Park.
The Icelandic international, who is affectionately nicknamed Thor by the Villa faithful, has been linked with a move to join Reading after he was left out of the match-day squad on Saturday and was then seen on a train heading for London in the evening.

Bjarnason, who turns 31 in May, has made 15 appearances for Villa this season, but he has struggled for form and has been receiving quite a bit of criticism from the fans as of late.
Therefore, due to his age and his first team chances looking somewhat limited, Dean Smith might be thinking it is time to for Bjarnason and Villa to go their separate ways.
If he does join relegation-threatened Reading, he will be playing alongside his compatriot Jón Daði Böðvarsson and former Villa player Leandro Bacuna.
