Villa exploring ways to keep Abraham
In what might be the least predictable news of the last few months, Aston Villa are now actively exploring ways in which they could hang on to Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham next season.
The forward has been sensational up front for Dean Smith’s side this season, and a Daily Mail report has stated that the Midlanders will find a way to keep Abraham in Birmingham next term.
Time will tell if that campaign is in the Championship or the Premier League, but either way there is a hope that the 21-year-old will stay at Villa Park.
Chelsea could find themselves slapped with a transfer ban if their appeal against FIFA fails, and could call on several of their loan players if they find themselves short-staffed at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are receiving external interest for the England under-21 star however, with Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig preparing to make a summer bid for the goal-machine.
