Anwar El Ghazi offered Olympiacos move
Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi has been offered the chance to sign for Greek giants Olympiacos this summer.
According to Greek outlet Sdna, relayed in an article by Sport Witness, El Ghazi’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is looking at a possible move to Greece for the player.
The 24-year-old has been a regular under Dean Smith this season and has been tipped to make his loan spell from Lille permanent in the summer if Villa secure promotion to the Premier League.
The Dutchman has made 35 appearances for Villa this season, scoring five times, and is expected to keep his place in the starting line-up against Derby County at Wembley.
The result against Frank Lampard’s side could have huge implications as to where the wide man will be plying his trade next season, with Lille looking to cash in on the player over the summer.
And with the recent news of interest from Greece, it appears as if the club will have competition to secure El Ghazi’s services even if they do book their place in the Premier League.
