Leicester and Southampton join Villa in pursuit of Justin
Southampton and Leicester have both joined the race to sign Aston Villa target James Justin from Luton.
According to Football Insider, Southampton and Leicester have both tabled offers for Justin similar to Villa’s £7.5m bid for the defender.
The report claims that Crystal Palace and Fulham are also interested in the talented left-back, with the race to land his signature hotting up going into the summer.
Luton secured the League One title and Justin stood out as one of their star performers at the back as he caught the eye throughout the season for the club.
The young left-back’s performances also earned him a nomination for EFL Young Player of the Season alongside Derby’s Harry Wilson, on loan from Liverpool, and Norwich’s Max Aarons.
Justin ultimately missed out on the award, with Aarons winning the crown, but Justin’s inclusion in the short-list is an achievement in of itself and shows how much potential he has.
