Villa have put talks over deals for Adam Webster, Said Benrahma and Kalvin Phillips on hold.
According to Telegraph journalist John Percy, Villa are struggling with the fees that are being demanded for their targets this summer.

He claims that Villa have put talks on hold due to the issues with the fees, as the club seemingly weigh up their options on how to proceed.
Dean Smith is said to want 8-9 signings this summer, including the ones that have already come in the door. So far, Wesley, Matt Targett, Anwar El Ghazi, Jota and Kortney Hause have joined Villa on permanent deals.
This means that Villa are looking to make, at least, four more signings before the end of the transfer window next month, as they prepare for the Premier League.
