Villa reportedly have £9.9 million bid accepted for winger Trezeguet

Aston Villa have reportedly had a bid accepted in their pursuit of Egyptian winger Trezeguet, according to reports from Turkey.

Takvim have reported that Villa have had an offer of £9.9 million accepted by Kasimpasa, with the Turkish side now being persuaded to sell the attacker.

Trezeguet has netted 25 times in 71 games for Kasimpasa, an impressive feat for a winger.

The Egyptian has been a top player in the Turkish Superlig, but now looks set to leave to join Villa.

Everton are reportedly also interested in a move for the winger.

If Villa were to sign Trezeguet, he would become Dean Smith’s eighth signing of the window after Ezri Konza was confirmed as a Villa player on Thursday.

Villa have strengthened a lot at the back, but are in need of some goal scoring talent after Tammy Abraham returned to Chelsea after the end of his loan spell.

Trezeguet could offer Villa goals from out wide, as Dean Smith looks to keep his side in the Premier League after promotion from the Championship.
