Many Aston Villa fans delighted with Trezeguet’s Arsenal contribution

Many Aston Villa fans have been praising Trezeguet for his performance against Arsenal on Sunday night.

The Egyptian winger proved to be a key player for Villa at the end of last season, with his contributions playing a big part in helping them to remain in England’s top-flight.

Having featured in seven Premier League games so far this term, the £7.2m-rated winger has one assist to his name.

Featuring from the start against Mikel Arteta’s side, the 26-year-old played 88 minutes in his side’s 3-0 win over the Gunners.

An own goal from Bukayo Saka plus an impressive brace from Ollie Watkins saw Villa pick up three points and, with Trezeguet gaining a respectable 7.72 out of 10 match rating via WhoScored.com, many fans have heaped praise on the “underrated” winger:
