With the Premier League taking a back seat, a number of Aston Villa players are set to represent their countries during the international break.
Villa go into the break off the back of a superb 3-0 away win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium which saw Dean Smith’s side push themselves to sixth in the Premier League standings.
With a number of key players in Villa’s squad impressing of late, Smith will surely be pleased that the majority can rest over the next fortnight, with only a handful of his players set for international duty:

John McGinn will be in action for Scotland, whilst Tyrone Mings and Jack Grealish have again been called up by Gareth Southgate to represent England.
Douglas Luiz has been called up by Brazil once more and Conor Hourihane is in the Republic of Ireland squad, whilst goalkeepers Emiliano Martinez and Lovre Kalinic could potentially play a part for Argentina and Croatia respectively.
