The attacking midfielder has been in superb form for both club and country this season, netting an impressive four goals and supplying six assists for Villa in the Premier League.
Such good form has now seen the 25-year-old feature more regularly for the Three Lions and he was handed his first competitive start by Gareth Southgate in the UEFA Nations League against Belgium on Sunday night.
Despite England losing 2-0 to Roberto Martinez’s side, Grealish produced a man of the match performance and has received many plaudits from pundits of the game, as well as his national team coach. [Sky Sports]
With England failing to qualify for the Nations League finals after the defeat, Grealish will be seen as one of few positives for the national team to take away from the current international break.
Sharing the footage of a skill performed by the attacking midfielder during the game, Villa’s official Twitter account gained plenty of reaction from their awestruck fans, one of whom claimed that he made Manchester City and Belgium star Kevin De Bruyne “look ordinary”:
