Aston Villa name their asking price for Jack Grealish
The Telegraph have claimed that Aston Villa are confident of keeping Jack Grealish at the club when the winter transfer window opens and have slapped a £100m price tag on his head.
The 25-year-old has been linked with Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur among others, but Villa’s owners Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens are under no obligation to cash in.
Grealish has made 10 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring six goals and supplying six assists. In nine Premier League outings, the England international has created 26 chances, recorded 29 successful dribbles, whipped in 29 crosses and won 40 free-kicks (WhoScored).

Grealish is one of the best playmakers in the Premier League and is drawing comparisons to Paul Gascoigne and Eden Hazard as a result. Villa are expecting interest in the England international from top European clubs next month but are confident he will stay.
The 25-year-old signed a five-year deal in September, too, so it seems unlikely that he would be granted a departure midway through the campaign regardless. Grealish is performing magnificently for club and country, so why fix what is not broken?
In other news, Ashley Preece says this player ‘could be one to depart’ Aston Villa in January for one crucial reason.
