Kaine Kesler played his part in Aston Villa winning the FA Youth Cup on Monday evening and posted footage on his Instagram stories of him celebrating with teammates.

The Young Lions beat Liverpool 2-1 at Villa Park, courtesy of goals from Ben Chrisene and Brad Young. Kesler played a full 90 minutes as skipper and has capped off the season in dream fashion.
He revealed after the game how good it felt to win the competition on home soil and in front of supporters, having played in mostly empty stadiums this season.
Kesler said: “To do it in front of the fans is just amazing. You could hear them everywhere you were on the pitch. They were chanting everyone’s names and it was just incredible. To win it here as well – it was the perfect night.”
Villa’s youngster said he’s never played in front of as many people and credited the supporters for being so loud that they put a smile on his face.
The 18-year-old has made 26 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring five goals with two assists. Kesler has played in 16 Premier League 2 games and played in January’s FA Cup defeat to Liverpool, so his career is going in a positive direction.
He’d no doubt love to make the step up to the first-team next season, but he will have Matty Cash and Frederic Guilbert for competition.
