The 2020/21 season has finished and Aston Villa winger Trezeguet has kept himself busy over the summer by returning to Al Ahly for a friendly visit and visiting a hospital to cheer up children. But the latest thing Trezeguet has been up to is being invited on a talk show.
The 26-year-old posted a picture on his Instagram stories looking dressing up and in good spirits while talking to the host. It’s unknown what show Trezeguet was on and who the host is, but it’s interesting to see how popular the winger is outside of England.
Trezeguet joined Villa from Kasimpasa in 2019 and has gone on to make 63 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals with five assists. He made 22 appearances across the board last season and had a hand in three goals, so performances over the previous campaign left a lot to be desired.
The Egyptian international, who boasts seven goals in 47 games, may have an uncertain future at Villa Park as Emiliano Buendia was brought in from Norwich City and will provide added competition for places. Time will tell if Trezeguet is in Dean Smith’s plans for next season.
