Emiliano Martinez was the hero for Argentina after saving three penalties in a shootout with Colombia to set up a Copa America final against fierce rivals Brazil.
The 28-year-old posted a video and numerous pictures on his Instagram story, celebrating the win, being hailed by his teammates for his heroics and then taking post-match snaps with players.

Argentina drew 1-1 with Colombia in normal time and went straight into a shootout. Martinez faced five penalties in total and saved from Davinson Sanchez, Yerry Mina and Edwin Cardona’s spot kick to send his side into the final.
The 28-year-old was named Man of the Match for his performance and has had an incredible year. Martinez joined Villa on a four-year deal from Arsenal last summer and has gone on to make 38 appearances in all competitions, keeping 15 clean sheets.
He’s been one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and earned the No.1 jersey for Argentina off the back of his Villa form, so things are really looking up. If Argentina win the Copa America, they have Martinez to thank.
