Tammy Abraham’s Aston Villa future is uncertain, with the club prepared to consider suitable offers for the striker this summer.
Villa are not actively attempting to sell the 28-year-old. However, they would assess any serious proposal received before the transfer window closes.
Jacob Tanswell reports that Abraham remains part of Unai Emery’s squad plans unless an acceptable opportunity emerges for both the player and club.
The stance gives Villa flexibility while they reshape their attack following Morgan Rogers’ £117million move to Chelsea.

Abraham returned to Villa Park on a permanent deal in January 2026. He subsequently scored three times across 16 appearances despite struggling with a shoulder problem.
The former Chelsea striker underwent surgery after the season ended. His rehabilitation has disrupted a pre-season which could have helped him compete more closely with Ollie Watkins.
ReadAstonVilla recently identified striker depth as one of Emery’s remaining squad decisions, with Villa preparing for another Champions League campaign.
Villa have also explored a permanent move for Nicolas Jackson during discussions with Chelsea. Signing another centre-forward could increase the possibility of Abraham leaving.
However, Villa are not under pressure to force an exit. Abraham provides Premier League experience and offers Emery a different physical profile to Watkins.
A strong offer may still prompt discussions, particularly if Abraham wants more regular starts. For now, Villa’s position remains measured rather than decisive.
