The Aston Villa Women WSL fixtures for 2026/27 have been announced, with Natalia Arroyo’s side starting the season away at Chelsea.
Villa travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday 5 September before hosting Manchester City at Villa Park on Sunday 13 September.
Tickets for the first home game will go on sale from 2pm on Thursday, while information for the Chelsea fixture will follow.
The difficult opening provides Arroyo’s rebuilt squad with an immediate test against two of the Women’s Super League’s leading sides.

Birmingham City visit Villa Park for the first Second City derby of the campaign in November.
Villa will then travel to St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park for the reverse fixture in January. Exact dates and kick-off times remain subject to confirmation and possible broadcast changes.
London City Lionesses will visit Villa Park for Villa’s final league match before Christmas. Everton provide the first home opposition of 2027 following the winter break.
Another standout fixture sees Arsenal travel to Villa Park for an evening match in March. Villa will complete their home campaign against West Ham before ending the season away at London City Lionesses.
The schedule arrives as Arroyo continues preparing her squad for the new campaign. Villa recently secured further defensive continuity after Noelle Maritz signed a new contract.
Supporters can purchase a season ticket covering every home league fixture at Villa Park. Early-bird prices remain available until Tuesday 4 August, with adult packages starting from £50.
