Ibrahim Mbaye FPL price revealed as Aston Villa additions confirmed

Aston Villa’s newest summer signings have now been added to Fantasy Premier League ahead of Friday evening’s Gameweek 3 deadline.

Deadline Day arrival Ibrahim Mbaye has been priced at £6.0million, while fellow new signing Taylor Harwood-Bellis is available for £4.5m.

The Premier League officially confirmed both additions following the closure of the transfer window.

Ibrahim Mbaye handed £6m FPL price

Mbaye has been classified as a midfielder in FPL.

That could become interesting if Unai Emery uses the 18-year-old regularly in Villa’s front three.

The Senegal international joined from Paris Saint-Germain for around £47m on Deadline Day and is available for Saturday’s trip to Hull City.

At £6.0m, Mbaye sits in the mid-price midfielder bracket rather than being treated as a budget option.

Leon Goretzka is also priced at £6.0m, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harwood-Bellis are both available at £4.5m.

Villa’s latest additions therefore currently stand at:

Ibrahim Mbaye — midfielder — £6.0m
Leon Goretzka — midfielder — £6.0m
Aaron Wan-Bissaka — defender — £4.5m
Taylor Harwood-Bellis — defender — £4.5m

Harwood-Bellis’ domestic availability is unaffected by his omission from Aston Villa’s Champions League squad..

Mbaye, meanwhile, could make his Villa debut at Hull after completing his move too late to feature against Arsenal.

Aston Villa FPL options face Hull

The timing gives Fantasy managers another decision before the 18:30 BST Gameweek 3 deadline on Friday.

Villa have endured a difficult attacking start, failing to score in either of their opening two league matches.

However, Hull’s two clean sheets have not told the whole story.

FBref records that opponents have attempted 32 shots against Hull across their first two Premier League games, including 21 from Manchester United.

That could make Villa’s new attacking options more intriguing than Hull’s defensive record initially suggests.

Mbaye remains a minutes risk while Emery integrates him, but his classification as an FPL midfielder means his £6m price is worth monitoring if he quickly establishes himself in the starting XI.
