Aston Villa fans face Tottenham travel warning before Saturday kick-off

Aston Villa supporters travelling to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have been warned to expect disruption before Saturday’s 12:30 BST Premier League kick-off.

White Hart Lane station will be closed, with no Weaver Line services running through the station because of planned engineering works. Replacement buses will operate, while additional shuttle services will connect the stadium with Alexandra Palace and Wood Green.

Tottenham have also warned supporters that access to the Victoria Line via Tottenham Hale will be restricted because of a faulty escalator. Fans have been advised to use Seven Sisters instead.

Transport disruption around Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Further disruption is expected on the Piccadilly Line, which will not operate between Acton Town and Hyde Park Corner. Supporters using that route should allow extra time and check for alternative connections before leaving.

Greater Anglia services between Liverpool Street and Cheshunt will also be diverted via Tottenham Hale because of engineering work.

Parking restrictions will remain in place around the stadium, with an extended controlled parking zone operating in Haringey and Enfield. Supporters are therefore encouraged to use public transport and leave earlier than usual.
