Aston Villa have agreed to revisit the cost of their video membership after supporters challenged the £30 annual charge.
The Aston Villa Fan Advisory Board raised the issue at its meeting with the club. Villa explained that match streams run through its digital membership programme, with a standard annual price of £30 and a 50 per cent discount for season-ticket holders.
The FAB argued that comparable video access is offered free to members by many other Premier League clubs. According to its published account, Villa agreed to reopen the discussion as part of the 2026/27 ticketing consultation.
Has Aston Villa changed the Villa TV price?
No. The meeting produced an agreement to discuss the charge again, not an announcement that the price will fall or access will become free. Supporters considering a subscription should check the club’s current terms before buying.
The question matters when fans are looking for coverage of fixtures that do not have a confirmed UK broadcaster. Our regularly updated Aston Villa TV guide separates confirmed channels and streams from matches whose coverage has yet to be announced.
The FAB also raised other ticketing concerns, including the experience of supporters relocated during the North Stand redevelopment. Its report says most cases involving seats mistakenly released have been resolved, while some affected fans were offered alternative seats at their original price.
Villa and the supporter group have not given a date for a decision on the video membership fee. The next meaningful update will be a confirmed change to the offer or a published outcome from the consultation.
