Brentford Goalkeeper David Button has been linked with a move to Aston Villa after an impressive campaign with The Bee’s.
Speaking to GetWestLondon.co.uk – Button said “obviously its flattering and a bit of a boost to be linked with a club like that, but i dont want to comment on that really”. when asked about speculation linking him to the club.
Button has been at the club just 2 years now and played almost 100 times for the Championship side, but with Shay Given moving onto 40 years of age and Brad Guzan in questionable form, it would seem likely that the speculation would have some substance to it.
The keeper came through the Tottenham academy, where Tim Sherwood was a coach at the time.
